Our Philosophy of Equipping and Equippers
- The role of
the Pastor is to give direction, train leaders, preach and teach the word,
care for the flock, and be an example to others.
- The role
of other staff members is the same as that of the pastor, in that staff
member's area of responcibility.
- The role
of the leadership is to be an example to others, to grow and develop in
their own gifts and calling and to equip the congregation for Ministry.
- The role
of each member is to committ himself/herself to grow as a disciple to be
trained to use his/her gifts, to be empowered by the Holy Ghost, to minister
to christians and non-christians as directed by the leadership. The church
will encourage and empower gifted believers to be creative, proactive, and
need-oriented in disciple making.
- All staff
members, policy makers, and leaders must be committed to the church's philosophy
of ministry.
- Persons aspiring
to leadership must have both character and giftedness.
- All leaders
will take part in an on-going leadership training programme as directed
by the Pastor, to improve their gifts.
